Eduweb is now the official e-Learning partner of the Hungarian National Bank

Eduweb Multimedia Co. and the Hungarian National Bank have signed a two-year co-operation contract concerning the supplying of an e-Learning management system and ready-made electronic curricula. The bank’s staff may from now on broaden and update their knowledge with the help of e-curricula running in Eduweb’s Learning Management System, including such topics as IT, Change Management and Project Management.
Eduweb at the start of u-Learning – the LOGOS project held its kick-off meeting in Budapest
The kick-off meeting combined with a press conference of the international LOGOS project was held on 20 and 21 March in Budapest. The meeting was opened by Bálint Magyar, Hungarian Minister of Education. 9 partner countries represented by 15 companies participate in the project co-ordinated by Antenna Hungária Co. Plc. Eduweb, the initiator of the project, plays a key role in the realization of the project’s objectives.
The main objective of the project funded by the IST part of the European Commission’s 6th framework programme is to create a new learning environment known as cross-media platform, which integrates the three electronic media available today, Internet, mobile phones and digital television broadcasting, thus creating the foundations of ubiquitous learning (omnipresent learning available to everyone). The interactive, cross-media curricula that will make use of the content of the existing digital archives are to be developed in three years time and will be accessible via computers, digital television sets and mobile phones.
The next meeting is scheduled for 29-30 June, and will be held in Crete.

Eduweb Multimedia Co. has won "Seal of European Excellence" prize

In 2006 the international jury of EMMAC awarded the "Seal of European Excellence in Multimedia" prize to Eduweb Multimedia Co. Eduweb has thus become the first Hungarian e-Learning service provider ever to win the prize. Besides Eduweb, winning the golden prize, 5 other Hungarian companies were awarded a silver prize.
The prize-awarding ceremony took place on 10 March at the Hannover CeBit, the world’s largest IT and telecom exhibition and fair. Eduweb was represented by Aszen V. Aszenov, CEO.
